General Information

What is Evo?

Evo connects patients to healthcare providers virtually, allowing them to receive care for common medical and behavioral health conditions via phone, video, or by submitting information about symptoms using Quick Care.

What do you treat?

You can be treated for a variety of common conditions through Evo. See the full list here.

How often are Evo patients redirected to in-person care after requesting a medical visit?

Less than 5% of visits are redirected to in-person care for appropriate evaluation.

What is Quick Care?

Quick Care allows patients to receive treatment for medical and behavioral health conditions without ever speaking to a provider.

Evo uses dynamic questionnaires to collect clinical information about patient symptoms and conditions. The information is sent to a medical or behavioral health provider that is licensed to practice in the patient's state. The provider reviews the information, provides a treatment plan, and can send a prescription to a local pharmacy if appropriate. Patients typically get a Quick Care response in less than 7 minutes. Occasionally, there are instances where the medical provider may need to ask patients clarifying questions about their health via phone or video.

*Evo, by Fabric®, is not health insurance and is not intended to replace comprehensive health coverage. Services are not a substitute for emergency care or health plan benefits. Visit fees vary depending on service type and may not be covered by insurance. Telehealth visits may not be appropriate for all conditions and are not a substitute for in-person care in all cases. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Care may be provided by physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, licensed mental health professionals, or other appropriately licensed providers in Evo, by Fabric's, network. Services and provider availability vary by state. Certain services may not be accessible in all states or for all conditions. Prescriptions are provided only when medically appropriate and at the sole discretion of a licensed provider. Certain medications, including controlled substances, are not available through Evo, by Fabric®. All information provided through Evo, by Fabric®, is for informational purposes only. Individual results may vary. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical advice specific to your condition.

Hours and Timing

When is Medical Care Available?

Patients can receive medical care on demand, 24/7/365.

When is Therapy Available?

Patients can meet with a therapist in as little as 3 days. Patients can review provider bios and schedules to select a date and time that will meet their needs.

What if I am late to my therapy appointment?

Patients can miss up to 40% of their session time (i.e., arrive up to 24 minutes late to a 60-minute visit) and continue to log on for their scheduled visit. The patient will then have the ability to utilize the time remaining on the visit. However, the session will end at the originally scheduled time and will not be extended.

What happens if I miss my therapy appointment?

If a patient has missed more than 40% of their scheduled visit, the patient will be considered a no-show and will be responsible for a missed session fee.

Prescriptions

Can my Evo provider write me a prescription?

Our medical providers can prescribe certain medications, if clinically appropriate. We do not provide prescriptions for controlled substances, including narcotics. Evo is not an online pharmacy, and we cannot fill prescriptions.

Evo providers do not prescribe narcotic pain relievers or other drugs listed as controlled substances by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency or regulated under State law. Review the DEA Controlled Substances Schedule if you are interested in a particular prescription and are uncertain if it is listed as a controlled substance. Evo consultations treat the majority of common medical conditions; however, a small number of cases require an in-person visit for complete care.

Our licensed therapists do not provide prescriptions for emotional and behavioral health concerns.

How can I get my prescription filled?

If a prescription is clinically appropriate, you will be prompted to indicate your pharmacy of choice in the patient portal after the visit has been completed.

Will my prescription be covered by my insurance policy?

Everyone's insurance is different. Please verify that the pharmacy you select is within your covered network before sending your prescription. If needed, you can request a pharmacy change by calling Evo support at (855) 636-3669 or using the patient portal.
